Marc Damant
Marc joined the Alberni Veterinary Clinic in September of 2004. He and his wife Angela were shown the ropes on how to run and manage a business and have never looked back. Marc and Angela became full owners of the clinic in October of 2006 and have enjoyed living in the Alberni Valley with their nine furkids. Marc is an avid diver and loves exploring the waters around the island with Angela. He is also a member of the Coastal Martial Arts Sport Karate Team.

Christina Mcbride R.A.H.T.
Christina graduated from Fairview college in 2002 and has been working at the Alberni Veterinary Clinic ever since. She is born and raised in B.C. and spent most of her life growing up on the Island. She currently lives on a small hobby farm with her dog, two cats, and horse. Christina enjoys camping and playing sports (softball and volleyball most of all),hanging out with her friends and family, and quadding. She just recently had a baby boy with her fiancee Mason. They are looking forward to getting married in July.

Tamara Dutton
Tamara was born and raised in Port Alberni. She did move with her family to the Turks and Caicos for four years when she was younger. She moved back to Port and finished highschool and went on to take the Veteterinary Assistant course at North Island Community College. She started at the Alberni Veterinary Clinic in September of 2007 and currently lives on a hobby farm with her fiancee, Colin, and their furkids Skye,Tyson,Shady and Jonnie (the Dogs) as well as Oliver (the pot bellied pig), and Felicia (the cat).
Receptionists
Ross Koelmans
Ross has lived all over Canada from the East coast to Ontario,Alberta,BC and now finally Vancouver Island. She and her husband Walter moved to Port Alberni in the fall of 2004 to be closer to their daughter Dr. Angela Damant and because they had always dreamed of living on the Island. Along with Angela they also have two other children Nathan and Roberta (both teachers in Alberta). When Ross isn't at the clinic working she can usually be found combing the beaches of the island. She currently has two fur babies Daisy (the dog) and Kanga (the cat).
Kerri Creighton
Kerri has been working as a receptionist at the Alberni Veterinary Clinic since August 2008. She has grown up on Vancouver Island and has lived in Port Alberni for the last 11 years except for 2 years when she lived in Chicago as an Au Pair. Kerri has always loved animals and has had many pets over the years. She currently lives with her fiancee Jeremy, and they have recently purchased their first home together and have started their own pet family with Olivia (the dog). Kerri enjoys her job at the clinic and the challenges that it brings. She is looking forward to expanding her knowledge and experience in the veterinary field in the years to come.
